Week 1: Evaluation of current site, research, and sketches
Week 2: Styling, design, and examination

The original site

Potentialize LLC is a professional development business dedicated to maximizing individual, team, and organizational potential through a variety of services.

challenges

Undefined brand identity

Misaligned Visuals: The use of stock images that didn't reflect the brand's values created a disconnect between Potentialize LLC's identity and its visual presentation. These generic images failed to capture the company's uniqueness and professional focus.
Lack of Cohesive Color Scheme: Potentialize LLC did not consistently use its brand colors. This inconsistency weakened the brand's visual coherence and recognition, making it harder for clients to associate specific colors with the company.
Unappealing Aesthetic: The design and presentation was unattractive, undermining the company's credibility and appeal, which could deter clients.
The Goals:
-
Utilize the brand's color scheme consistently across all platforms
- Enhance the site's visual appeal to attract and retain visitors
- Include only images that directly associate with and represent the company's values and mission

Gaps in information architecture

Poor User Flow: The site did not provide an easy and intuitive flow for visitors. This disrupted the ability of potential clients to engage with the content and understand the value of the services provided.
Difficult Navigation: The site was hard to navigate, making it challenging for visitors to find the information they were looking for quickly and efficiently.
The Goals:
-
Make the process of finding and booking a service straightforward
- Create a simple yet visually appealing way for visitors to see exactly what Potentialize is about
- Ensure a clear and intuitive user flow throughout the site

Limited credibility

No Client Testimonials: The site lacked client testimonials or reviews, which are essential for building trust. Without them, Potentialize appeared less credible and reliable to prospective clients.
The Goals:
- List previous clients Potentialize has worked with
- Include multiple client testimonials
- Dedicate an entire page to showcase past clients for easy navigation and credibility

competitive analysis

Benchmarking

To begin the redesign of Potentialize LLC's website, I researched successful coaching and consulting businesses to see what worked well on their sites and what didn't. I analyzed their layouts, navigation, visuals, and content to identify key features that created a positive user experience. I also noted common issues like cluttered layouts and difficult navigation.
